Framesets
Framesets for Sale
What do a designer, an engineer and a scientist have in common? It takes them all to develop the bicycle framesets. It is not just a bike any more. It is a ride that makes up its own definition of technologically engineered, geometrically redesigned with a twist of metallurgy knowledge involved.
Racing is faster and jumping is taking on new heights with the redesigning of the new bikes available on the market. Famous bicycle companies are building better framesets to break records and give everyday riders the ultimate experience in the off-road, or road touring bikes.
About Framesets
Knowing a little bit about framesets will help riders determine what they are looking for within a bike, especially if the bike is used, found at an auction or somewhere where no one could really provide much information on the bike. The average rider can use almost any frameset out there, but if one is racing or jumping, there is a huge difference in the performance, gearing, styling, weight and design of the bike.
Unbelievably, there is a lot of scientific knowledge that goes into that lightweight frame. Everything from aerodynamics, the type of metal, the geometric design and even the paint are all vital factors to what goes into the making of a bike. Carbon and aluminum make up a lightweight bike frame, especially used on the racing circuit. Although the bike has to be light, it must be durable enough to handle the weight of the rider. Framesets for women tend to be a shorter frame to better suit the smaller build of most women.
The older bikes, before the designing of better frames, the frame could crack easily from the stress of jumping. It still can happen today, but since engineering and technology has been helping in the building, stronger framesets in jump bikes and BMX bikes are better than ever before.
