Triathlon Bikes for Sale

Personal experience with triathlon bikes:

The most important aspect of participating in a triathlon this past summer was the purchase of a new triathlon bike. I had all the running gear, swimming gear, and know-how when it came to swimming and running. Riding a bike for more than a trip around the block was totally foreign and I needed to come up with a plan quickly. I fell into this triathlon through mere happenstance in the form of a flier on the wall of my local public library. It was certainly not in my budget to purchase a triathlon bike but I had some money saved away for a kayak purchase that I was mulling over. Rather than buy a kayak for some summer kayaking in Colorado, I bought a new triathlon bike. This decision was the best one I made toward having a successful triathlon experience.

My alternative was to use an old bike with a basket and be really embarrassed the whole ride through. Triathlon bikes are a thing of wonder compared to what I was riding before and the lightweight and sleek design helped me make up for lost time during my swimming portion of the race. My legs are not the strongest I have encountered but with a good triathlon bike under them, I was able to put some distance between myself and my closest competitors. I did not come in first, or even in tenth, but I think that my time has given me a good gauge as to what I should shoot for next year.

Triathlon bikes I considered:

I won't give away which bike I bought but I did consider a few others. The Tommaso Sixth Sense Trike Bike was the first bike I considered. The Quintana Roo Tequilo was the other bike that I did not buy; Both are fantastic bikes though! My main preference was color and these weren't bright green.
