Although Pinnacle Bikes was officially launched in 2006 in the U.K. the history of the company behind it goes a long way back! The mother company is Evans Cycles and opened its very first shop in 1921. It was known as F.W. Evans Cycles and built a strong reputation for building its own frames and bikes as well as being a quality bike shop. In 1925 they were given a silver plaque from the Cyclists Touring Club for their improvements in cycle design.

Although Evans Cycles is based in the U.K the Pinnacle bikes are developed by the in house team and engineers in the United States and the Far East. The bikes are designed with U.K. riders in mind and the conditions of the U.K. weather and terrain. For example these bikes can be equipped with mudguards for riding in the inclement weather conditions of the U.K. Pinnacle works with their retail partners to learn what the customer really wants and then develops it.
